Welcome to JTServers

Infrastructure built by a homelabber

JTServers is my personal infrastructure project, running for nearly two years. The JTServers branding has been active for just over one year.

Services currently include Tailscale networking, TrueNAS storage, multiple web services, and soon a BeamMP server. Hosting runs on a 1000/100Mbps connection. Cloudflare Tunnels are currently used for public services while working around CG-NAT.

Hardware stack: 1× Dell PowerEdge R610 + 2× Dell PowerEdge R720 Combined: 600GB RAM, 10TB storage, 100 Intel Xeon cores.

Remote virtual machines on demand

Lynxre began as a lightweight SSH environment.

It got the name LynxRE because the first software I ran on it was the Lynx web Browser
The RE part of stands for Remote. Lynx + REmote = LynxRE

It now supports full Proxmox virtual machines for remote use. A super limited number of VMs are available (Somewhere in the range of 1-3 VMs). Performance and uptime are best-effort (Don't expect much, JTSERVERS Runs on decade-old hardware).

1 Year of JTServers

8MWh of compute power

Over the past year, the infrastructure consumed approximately 8MWh.

The graphs below show load across all three servers, including downtime periods (0% usage).

Upcoming services: Minecraft (Java & Bedrock) and BeamMP.

Current plans to save power and reduce carbon-footprint include:
Partial solar power and Replacing PVE1 and PVE2 with a newer HP ProLiant Server
